Terms of Service
Last updated 20 August 2026
These terms describe what Phantom Ramp does, what it does not do, and what you take on when you use it.
This is template wording written to make the product legible, not binding legal text. Before Phantom Ramp takes a real payment, a qualified lawyer has to review and replace what is on this page.
What the service is
Phantom Ramp converts a card or bank payment into the cryptocurrency you choose and sends it to an address you supply. We are a router, not a custodian. We do not open an account that holds your coins, we do not lend them out, and we cannot freeze them once they have left.
Because we never hold your assets, we cannot reverse a transfer, recover coins sent to an address you typed incorrectly, or move funds between chains after the fact.
Your address is your responsibility
Every purchase asks for a destination address and states the network it will be sent on. Confirming that screen is you telling us the address is correct and on that network. A blockchain transfer is final. An address that belongs to someone else, or to a contract that cannot return funds, is not recoverable by us or by anyone.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must not be a person or in a place that applicable sanctions or law prohibit us from serving. Not asking for your ID does not mean the law stops applying to you, and it does not mean it stops applying to us.
You are responsible for reporting and paying any tax that your purchases create.
Fees and quotes
The fee is shown on the confirmation screen before you pay, as a figure in your own currency rather than a percentage you have to work out. Quotes are indicative and reflect market prices at the moment they are generated. The amount of crypto you receive can move between the quote and settlement.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. Networks congest, payment processors decline, and partner exchanges go offline, and we do not promise the service will be available without interruption. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us on the transaction the claim concerns.
Changes and contact
We will post any change to these terms on this page and update the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Questions go to legal@phantomramp.example.
